Have you spent hours on Pinterest or looking through décor websites and/or magazines for décor inspiration, but you’ve got expensive taste and a limited budget? I know I do. That’s where Wayfair comes in. They offer a variety of brands and products at affordable prices to suit all your home needs.

According to Elle Decor, 2021 living room décor trends include luxe minimalism, and neutral colours accompanied by bold colours and patterns to decorate a space.

Bold Patterns

What better way to make a statement than with a bold pattern? I’m a minimalist at heart, and when I think of wallpaper, the tacky floral print on my bedroom walls in the 90s comes to mind. But wallpaper and florals have made a comeback in recent years and can be quite chic.

Wayfair has a variety of wallpaper to suit all minimalists’ and maximalists’ tastes, with different finishes, textures, and bonus, some are easy to apply and remove!

I really like the Lippencott Wildwood 27′ x 27″ Metallic Wallpaper Roll print by Rifle Paper Co. because its made from clean and recycled materials, and would add a funky vibe to a space. Not to mention its washable!

Luxe Minimalism

Marble is a classic and on-trend style at the moment, giving a luxurious look in a minimalist way. Add some gold to the mix and you’ve got yourself an expensive looking piece, but for a lot less!

This Everly Quinn Caceres End Table not only offers an affordable price tag, it also adds functionality to your space. Who says practicality can’t be chic?

Play around with different shapes and include a round coffee table to balance out the structured furniture with the Wasser Coffee Table by Mistana.

White

A lot of designers showcase interiors using white since it creates the illusion of a wider space, along with colourful decor, statement chairs and accessories, like Melanie Turner. And I’m here for it!

Sometimes a white wall just isn’t as exciting as you would like it to be, but what about adding some texture or a pattern without being too bold? The Keesha Supaglypta 33′ x 20.5″ Damask 3D Embossed Wallpaper by Ophelia & Co. is GORGEOUS!!! The design is so lovely, and if you grow tired of white, you can always paint it.

Wayfair offers custom upholstery in a variety of colours and body fabric, like this Haleigh 56″ Square Arm Loveseat. A classic design with off-white upholstery will give that designer décor look for less. Not to mention the pillows are included!

Bold Colours

Jewel tones are big this year and they’re a great way to add a pop of colour or texture to elevate a space.

This Erasmus Side Chair by Mercer41 will do just that! The chair is upholstered in 100% polyester giving it a clean velvet look.

Dramatic Glamour

Chandeliers can be the focal design element in a room and a great way to boost your décor game. This Philbrick 4-Light Unique Globe Chandelier offers ambient lighting and would be a chic and glamorous addition to any room.
